Conceptualize a brand, and then define and design its brand identity.

Though Tulum, Mexico’s current visual identity has elements that represent its culture and landscapes, it is outdated and does not truly capture the coastal town’s personality.

We completely reimagined Tulum, Mexico’s branding. Capturing the coastal town’s essence and embodying its vibrancy, beauty, and rich culture, while also modernizing its look to evoke a sense of trust through a new visual identity.

The Urban is a museum located in NYC, it aims to immerse the visitor in the skate and art world NYC has to provide. The museum also aims to act as a hub to establish a sense of community for artists and skaters around the city, by hosting networking events and demos.

The Urban will project the energy of the NYC’s skate and art culture, by using branding with a focus on bold design, typography, and vibrant colors.

Decorative Graphics

Decorative Graphics

The decorative graphics are inspired by scratches underneath the skateboard. The wear underneath skateboards is very individualized, it varies depending on the type of skate style a person may practice. The graphics also represent the art artists cover the buildings of NYC with.

The combination of these decorative graphics and the inorganic typeface perfectly represents the city and the artists who use the city as a canvas.
